What we prioritise

Sensitive skin needs protection that is complete enough to trust and comfortable enough to wear consistently. Mineral filters are our starting point for this audience, not a shortcut around evaluating the full sunscreen.

Complete protection

The labelled SPF, UVA protection and full filter system matter more than the percentage of any one mineral filter. Normal reapplication still applies.

Tolerance-led choice

Zinc oxide is our foundational filter for reactive skin, often supported by titanium dioxide. We are mineral-first for this audience rather than claiming mineral is universally superior.

Practical wear

White cast, tint, texture and finish can decide whether SPF becomes a daily habit. Iron oxides are especially relevant where cast or visible-light pigmentation matters.

Positive INCI signals

Ingredients we look for

Zinc oxide is the foundational mineral filter. Titanium dioxide is most useful as its formulation partner, while iron oxides add specialist tint and visible-light support. Humectant and calming ingredients such as glycerin and ectoin can help the surrounding formula feel more comfortable, but the labelled SPF and complete filter system remain more important than spotting any single ingredient.
