Avène Cicalfate+ Restorative Protective Cream
Protective cream with copper, zinc and a mineral oil base.
Quick verdict
There's no centella in this cream, despite the 'Cica' in its name. The list leans instead on copper sulfate (14th) and zinc sulfate (19th), which the product copy calls a copper and zinc complex, with zinc oxide sixth, in a base of triglycerides, mineral oil and waxes.

Why it made the cut
Glycerin, fourth, is its only Green List ingredient, so it earns its place for its purpose rather than its count: a fragrance-free protective cream for dry, irritated skin, applied to the area that needs it. Zinc oxide isn't working as a sunscreen here, and the cream carries no SPF.
Next to La Roche-Posay Cicaplast Baume B5+, which adds panthenol, shea butter and centella, it's the simpler oil-and-wax option at a similar price.
